Tip Toe Through the Tulip Tables

One of my favorite pieces of furniture- the Tulip table. The original was designed by the renowned architect Eero Saarinen. He designed many other pieces when he was an associate at the Knoll company. I recall visiting a Knoll  showroom as an interior design student and have been a fan ever since. ( In case you didn't know- one of his masterworks is the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. Very cool.)

If you desire one these lovely tables, dust off the wallet. This one's gonna take a bite!

If you don't happen to have a couple thousand to drop then perhaps this might be a great choice for you

I quite like this option. For $179.00 you can take this baby home and still have enough money left over for some cute chairs. I like to see it paired with a more traditional style chair. It strikes that balance of modern and traditional that I'm always looking to achieve.

Here are some inspiring  ideas:

Oh, the always fabulous Tory Burch. Don't you love her kitchen?
